The Sound of His Voice

Recently my youngest son and I were in the grocery store checkout line with one last item I needed to complete a meal for our daughter’s and granddaughter’s homecoming from the hospital. My husband and dog waited in the car. This was supposed to be a quick visit. After all, I needed just one item. Achieve and leave: That’s my motto.

Look This Way

The past few days have been a potpourri of blessings and challenges all muddled together in one big congealed lump. I’ve had so many things pulling at me, so many things distracting me, that it’s hard to know which way to turn. That’s why I’m so late posting, for those of you who await my updates.

Weed It and Reap

Daphne is a King Charles spaniel. We recently puppy-sat her for a week when she was just 10 weeks old. She was the size of my dog’s head, but what she lacked in size, she compensated for in fervor.
