About This Blog
Coming to Jesus is easy. You acknowledge who He is—Lord and Savior—and admit your own sinfulness and your desperate need for Him. But it’s the abiding, the persevering, that’s tricky because our earthly tents are prone to wander and prone to leave the Lord we love (Romans 7:21-25).
We focus here on perseverance: pressing on despite adversity and claiming the victory that is ours in Jesus (Romans 8:37). It is not ours to wallow in the mire; it is ours to reach out and cling to the hand of God who has redeemed our lives from the pit (Psalm 103:4).
It’s time to die to ourselves, my friends, and be made alive in Christ. Then, and only then, shall we truly live.
